The municipality is divided into two levels. At the top we find the chief administrative officer and two municipal managers, then 20 unitleaders form the next level. The leader of the unit is responsible for operations and the services provided by the device. Frogn municipality is organized with a total of 20 units. The units have different activities related to their area.
Group Chief duties consist of:
- Follow-up of the citizens' service needs, and that needs the coverage and quality of municipal services in the measured and evaluated
- Provide citizens focus organsisasjonen
- Information on services outside
- Design of the visions and goals in interaction with political leadership
- Contact and interaction with the mayor and other elected
- Support for enhetsledere and building community leadership culture
- Ensuring coordination and overall dispositions and choices
- Securing the borders, procedures, and guidelines for activities
- Responsibility for implementation and efficiency of the administration, staff and organizational culture
- Follow-up of executive appointments
- Internal control, emergency
